Last Sunday I taught a comprehensive class on rope. Class started about 2:30 and ran almost constant until 6:30 or so.
There was a lot I covered, but what my goal was , is to cover it all in a way that when they went home, they could use what they learned.
- History of Shibari/Kinbaku/Hojutisu
- Ropes and Safety
- One Column tie, Cats Paw, Flogging Cuff
- Two Column tie
- Chest Harness
After those fundamentals I went into how to use it all together
- Ebi
- Hogtie
- Bondage for sex
But I also got into how to not just treat your partner as a package, how to separate practice time from play time and so on
Made sure all of it was practiced over and over, nothing rushed only moved on when almost everyone got it.
My very cute demo bunny for the day was Tina , On way up she was talking about the Dragon Fly Sleeve tie and how she likes it and knows how to tie it. So near the end of the class we reversed roles and I became the demo bunny, and she showed the class how to tie the DragonFly
By the end of the class I was completely exhausted, but buzzing seeing people get what I showed them really made me smile
Wish I got to stick around, but I was just too tired and Tina needed to get home.. There is a cute girl that wants a rope corset.. and I think that would be fun
