Finding myself with a lot of static and noise in my head last few months and it is messing with me.

I really dont know where it is coming from

I have a lot of great things going on

• Nawa D0 event is almost sold out (3 slots left as time of this post)
• Teaching at Fetish Flea
• Teaching at Shibaricon
• Boston Rope Group is doing great
• Made some amazing new friends in NJ
• Time away for Winter Solstice event for NYE

On the downside

• Work has me stress and angry
• Family conflicts
• Called of f  relationship with an amazing woman, as much as both wanted something we were not a right fit
• My tolerance for people is low, it takes little for me to want to snap at little things
• General energy level is low and ignore things needing to be done
• Pretty strong mood swings
• Stronger desire for solitude
• Little patience to explain things when asked lots of questions (on any topic)

During a sudden wave of mood swings today, I purged my Fetlife.. I almost just had it deleted, but I know that would have been a mistake, actually don’t think John Baku would have let me.  I remove almost all my photos, kinks, writing etc.. I left almost all the groups I was a member of. I also almost purged all the friends.. but I knew that also would have been a mistake.

I am not leaving the scene, and still will be active. The Boston Rope Group is a passion for me! as well as teaching and the event I am putting on.  What I think I get out of this purge is a drop in “static and noise”  removing distraction etc.  I am very sorry for any concern that my massive edit on Fetlife may have caused..  while some “hey are you ok?” check ins actually warmed me.. over all it made me want to hide more.

One check in actually made me very emotional.   I don’t know how I do it, but I seem to make very strong connections with people, I guess it is by just being me, calling things as I see them.  Someone I met over a year ago (2?) at a party in another country, who him self was a long way from home (Europe).. We talked a lot at that party, mostly just hung out.  Well he asked how I was, that he will see me at Shibaricon and I should come out to visit him in Europe..  That little thing meant a lot.. someone to all intents and purposes is a stranger.. but that short time in same spot, made a connection.  That is was proof that it would have been a mistake to fully delete my Fetlife profile.

I do have some amazing friends, I have been spending time with a select few of late. They help recharge me, calm and I forget about rest of world for a little while.What was supposed to be needed down time was interrupted with stress from family, and countered much of the ‘healing’ that the peace of the  time alone was giving.  Thankfully I spend next day with a woman and her family that are very dear to me and it did help

This coming weekend is a great event for New Years Eve..  I am not teaching and will be with good friends. I hope this will be the more of that recharge I really need..

yeah I am still here..  and I am limiting overall much of my contact with many many people, I will be a bit quieter for time being, but still here

Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God’s Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination… End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God’s Laws and how to follow them.

1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can’t I own Canadians?

2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of Menstrual uncleanliness – Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord – Lev.1:9. The problem is, my neighbours. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

5. I have a neighbour who insists on working on the Sabbath.Exodus 35:2. Clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it?

6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination – Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don’t agree. Can you settle this? Are there ‘degrees’ of abomination?

7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle- room here?

8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev.19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Lev.24:10-16.Couldn’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help.

Master Tatu’s – School of the Japanese Rope Arts Weekend Intensive Workshop

Level I – Basic to Intermediate 10-12 Hours of Instruction

7:00pm Introductions – Meet n Greet

Note on Safety: Master Tatu’s style of education incorporates aspects of safety throughout the course with each tie, rather than in one specific class.

7:00pm – 7:45pm Japanese Aesthetics and Comparative Styles

Master Tatu who has studied Japanese Culture for the past 30 years has a unique perspective to share in understanding comparative styles & Japanese Aesthetics which are foundational to learning Kinbaku. While the teaching of forms is typical and necessary, no one else in North America teaches Shibari from this perspective. Understanding cultural aesthetics is critical in understanding and learning the Way of Japanese Bondage (Kinbaku-do).

8:00pm – 8:45pm (Level Basic)
Katas 1: Getting your hands dirty, so to speak, as this will be our first class participation workshop. Tatu will instruct basic knots for bondage with an emphasis on safety. He will also demonstrate comparative wrist and limb ties “Ryo-tekubi”, giving consideration to circulation and nerves paths in the human anatomy.

Also taught will be the “Kotobu Ryo-tekubi” wrists behind the neck tie. This tie often is a telling moment when the rope bottom finds herself unable to resist the erotic encounter.

Here we will also explore an exciting additional intermediate form, the Teppo Shibari.

9:00pm – 11:00pm (Basic to Intermediate) Katas 2: Japanese Styled Chest Harnesses – Part 1 Being rendered incapable of only embracing the rope is a key moment of sensual surrender in the rope bondage experience. Tatu will teach the basic forms of chest harnessing that will place your rope bottom in the position of no choice, but to surrender her/his power to the pleasure inflicted. Presented will be the traditional “Gote Shibari” and “Ushiro Takata-kote”, a box arm & wrist tie. This form is the building block of most Japanese Rope ties. Basic safety and quick release methods will be covered.

Two additional traditional Japanese chest harness variations will be taught at this time, known as the “Ushiro Tasuki” as well as the “Hon Kikkou”. Working off the Chest Harness, we will finish with an intermediate form, the Gyaku Ebi (Japanese Hogtie); and explore some wonderfully torturous applications.

10:00am Doors Open – Coffee & Juice, etc.

10:30am – 12:00noon “Torture to Erotic Surrender” – Continuation of the History Japanese Sexual Culture and the use of rope from a martial skill, to torture, to the beauty in suffering of Kinbaku – Power Point Presentation

Noon – 1pm Lunch Break

1:00pm – 2:00pm (Intermediate) Katas 3: Nawa Aikido – Floorwork (Yukawaza), Ground Grappling (Ne-waza) Rope Energy (Kami-do), Connection, Spirituality & Sensuality Nawa-aikido refers to a style of erotic Japanese Rope Bondage in the Kinbaku-bi tradition. The style was developed and the term coined by Rope Master Tatu, who is also an Aikido practitioner. It is used to describe the way of experiencing love and harmony through the rope bondage journey. For Master Tatu, it is the connection the rope facilitates that is foundational to it all.

2:15pm – 3:15pm (Intermediate)
Katas 4: Intermediate Japanese Body Weaves Being encased in rope is a wonderful, sensual and secure experience for the rope bottom. Tatu will present various methods to tie the “Hishi-nawa sometimes known as a “Karada”, which is a traditional style Japanese diamond body weave.

Note: Most probably know the basics in fact a basic “Hishi Karada” is probably the 1st Japanese styles tie you learned; so we are going to move quickly into some fun with some exciting more advanced techniques using some traditional Japanese implements.

Also covered will be the “Kikkou-nawa, and “Gangi garame” (completely bound and immobilized).

3:30pm – 4:45pm (Intermediate)
Katas 5: Takezao he no Kousoku (tying to a bamboo rod)

5:00pm – 7:00pm (Basic to Intermediate) Katas 5: Torturous Sex – Shibari Style In this class participants will learn what Tatu calls S.U.S.H.I. or Seductive Uninhibited Shibari Hot Intimacy.

The Japanese have some very interesting ties that are accommodating for sexual pleasuring. This is a class on how to beautifully, tie, pose and expose your rope victim using classic shibari ties such as Momo-shibari, Komon Sarashi, & Ebi; as well as a intermediate level semi suspension techniques and other ties to position your delicacy.

Additionally, use of traditional Japanese torture devices will be explored.
