We met up in Salem,ma and found a quiet portion of beach just be for sun down..

It was really nice to be out there .. I am glad she got me moving

Just over 7 months, all of it was pretty amazing times, but she is battling her own demons and there is nothing I can do, she decided to end things

Little girl is back off running on her own, I hope she does not get too lost

Learning to Fly…

Many years ago.. I was member of a group called the Royal Canadian Air Cadet , this was a pretty amazing time for me. Some of my best child hood memories come from the years I was there.

One thing they help you do , is learn to fly! I never actually got to get my pilots license through them, moving to Boston for grade 10 put a stop to that.

But I did get to fly……

I remember in vivid detail my first time in a glider, As we went up , while bit more bumpy than regular plane, you knew something powered was going on as we were pulled up and along in the sky.

In front of me was this big red knob.. it was the cable release. When the time came, I got to pull it.. wow, everything changed! The sound and feel of the glider. No sound or vibration of an engine, just wind.

Once the glider had stabilized the pilot let me take over… Learning how the glider performs, gentle turns some sharp bank and some very basic navigation.

now 23 years later.. A photo of Claire Adams has put that moment back in vivid clarity to me..

Spent a lot of time yesterday in the way back machine, some amazing memories, a few painful and some big regrets

One of these I need to correct…
